Residents Encouraged to Attend Public Hearings on Fiscal Year 2020 Budget
Citizens have opportunity to comment on the City's proposed fiscal year 2020 budget at public hearings scheduled for Wed., Sept. 4 and Tues., Sept. 17, 6:30 p.m., at City Hall.  
Meres Crossings Residential Apartments Taking Shape
The newest phase of the Meres Crossing mixed-use development is rapidly taking shape and changing the landscape at the southern entrance to the City. Under construction are 236 apartment homes in several buildings, with access to the Pinellas Trail and unique amenities for new residents.
Coming Soon to Tarpon Springs
Two new restaurants - one Downtown and one at the Sponge Docks - will be opening this fall.  H'ours Creole Smokehouse, 310 E. Tarpon Ave., is  undergoing an extensive renovation of the interior and exterior of the building.  Dock's Waterfront is taking over the former ShrimpWrecked at 210 Dodecanese and also is undergoing renovations. Dock's specializes in seafood, and H'ours will feature a creole cajun menu.  
Welcome New Business: Erika's Sweet Haus
The nutty aroma of glazed cinnamon roasted nuts is now greeting Downtown visitors with the opening of  Erika's Sweet Haus at 118 E. Tarpon Ave.  Erika's has been a fixture at First Fridays and now has her first storefront. The store offers dozens of flavors of glazed nuts, and other German delights including coffees and teas. Stop in for a sweet treat.
