Tarrieth By The Stuff!!! 10/11/23
1 Samuel 30:21-25 (KJV)
21 And David came to the two hundred men, which were so faint that they could not follow David, whom they had made also to abide at the brook Besor: and they went forth to meet David, and to meet the people that were with him: and when David came near to the people, he saluted them.
22 Then answered all the wicked men and men of Belial, of those that went with David, and said, Because they went not with us, we will not give them ought of the spoil that we have recovered, save to every man his wife and his children, that they may lead them away, and depart.
23 Then said David, Ye shall not do so, my brethren, with that which the LORD hath given us, who hath preserved us, and delivered the company that came against us into our hand.
24 For who will hearken unto you in this matter? but as his part is that goeth down to the battle, so shall his part be that tarrieth by the stuff: they shall part alike.
25 And it was so from that day forward, that he made it a statute and an ordinance for Israel unto this day.
Before I begin to PREACH today's message, I MUST opine on current events-THE WAR IN ISRAEL!!!!
Truly, THESE/YES THESE/TODAY'S current events ARE:

Not since the Holocaust have as many Israeli Jews been merciless slaughtered-no matter where one's political views fall. The scenes and atrocities broadcast over network and social media are beyond demonic-I just shake my head.........................
People-including those of our own LOCAL people are suffering horrific medical and financial, mental, spiritual warfare-WE NEED TO:
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (ASV)
16 Rejoice always;
17 pray without ceasing;
18 in everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus to you-ward.

In 1 Samuel, Chapter 30, (please read the entire Chapter), we find King David returning home after a SUCCESSFUL recovery of the enemy's merciless theft.
Satan, through his human puppets, had “successfully” invaded King David's homeland and stolen-not only his possessions and property-but he and his soldiers wives AND children.
There were a small contingent of soldiers left behind, (200) who were MADE
(1 Samuel 30:21 whom also they had MADE to abide at the brook Besor)
to “TARRIETH BY THE BAGGAGE” and thus sere “spared” the heat of physical combat.
1 Samuel 30:24 (ASV)
24 And who will hearken unto you in this matter? for as his share is that goeth down to the battle, so shall his share be that tarrieth by the baggage: they shall share alike.
The MEN who had suffered through the physical, mental, and SPIRITUAL heat of the fierce warfare did NOT want to share the SPOILS of “their”-please note MY Italics with those who were MADE to “TARRIETH BY THE BAGGAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'
I am talking to YOU today!!!
YOU who ARE MADE to “TARRIETH BY THE BAGGAGE!!!!!”
God SEES you-YOU who are NOT on the actual forefront of the battle..........
YOU who is not physically involved in the “glorious” heat of the battle!!!!
YOU who NEVER receive the admiration and applause of the people because YOU are not afforded the RECOGNITION, PRAISE, AND THANKS richly deserved!!!!!!!!!!!!
GOD SEES YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YOU, who stand in the anonymous background with YOUR tithes and offerings!!!!
YOU who wait the tables and prepare the food and supplies to the soldiers on the front lines!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YOU who PRAY AND FAST and ENCOURAGE/MINISTER to the battle fatigued “ministers” CALLED to carry the Cross of Christ forward!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NOT “this Bud's for YOU” but this BLESSING to YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday, I had the JOY and HONOR of sharing a luncheon table and time of BLESSED fellowship with several REAL men of God!!!
Men, who care little for money or fame, men who have dedicated their ENTIRE lives to YOU and FOR you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BUT/BUT/BUT-lurking there in the BACKGROUND was a BEAUTIFUL young WOMAN.............................................. I GOT TEARS IN MY EYES..............

SHE/YES SHE-and her amazing/HUMBLE father had LOVINGLY prepared our FEAST, waited our every need, and then DISSAPEARED into the anonymous BACKGROUND until it was time to “CLEAN UP OUR DIRTY DISHES!!!!!!!!!!!”
WHERE IS HER GLORY?????
WHERE IS HER PRAISE AND APPLAUSE??????????????
