Young Adult Group, St. Vincent de Paul
Promoting faith and fellowship for Catholics in their 20s and 30s

We hope you had a nice relaxing weekend and are refreshed and energized to embark upon another exciting week! Your Young Adults Leadership Team at St. Vincent's has two activities planned this month, but if there are any events you would like to see added to the calendar please let us know!

First up: Tasty Thursday at Star Community Home will be held THIS THURSDAY, starting at 6:30pm. The kids will be making muffins! Please RSVP via email ( as space is limited. Once you receive a confirmation you will be good to go!

In a few weeks: Join us for a wine and cheese social on Sunday June 24th after the 5:15 Young Adults Mass. We will provide ample "Jesus juice" (wink) and snacks, but we welcome other edible contributions should you so desire to bring any. Or, just bring a friend! It will be a great event and provide a wonderful opportunity to interact with other like-minded young adults and chat with our pastor, Fr. Ken and our resident Seminarian, Tom!

Finally, if cooking or eating isn't your thing (you'll have to explain that one), perhaps sports strikes your fancy instead! How about a little co-ed bball? St. Vincent's is looking to form its own co-ed team, so lace up your shoes and come out and have a little fun! CYO Adult Athletics is sponsoring this activity. Its mission is to provide an opportunity for adults in the Archdiocese of San Francisco to meet new people, build community and put into practice the Christian values of respect, love, and compassion through athletics and fellowship. CYO Athletics is starting two co-ed basketball leagues—advanced and intermediate—this summer. Games will take place on Sundays between June 24– August 5.

This week, as we continue in our lives which are no doubt abundantly overflowing with love, prosperity, and support let us not forget those who struggle to meet even the most simple of needs. We encourage you to take some time this week to help those less fortunate. Please pray for all of our family members and friends who are struggling with health and employment issues.

May the Lord bless and keep you, may He shine His face upon you. Have a blessed week.

Blessings from your Young Adult Leadership Team,

Christina Bellino Sullivan, Courtney O'Hagan, Paul Boyer, Greg Sirotek, Jonas Malalang, and John Monley
