The Wildwood Word Weekly
We are God's progressive voice in Green Mountain Falls. Join us at Church in the Wildwood, an Open & Affirming congregation in the United Church of Christ, as we extend Christ's radical welcome to all.
Tatter Hall's new Floor
Check out our new hardwood floor!
Construction is finished in Tatter Hall!!! We have a few minor tweaks ahead, but the hall is finished and ready for simulcast every Sunday as well as regular events (Food Pantry, Fellowship, etc).
Worship in the Construction Zone
But aren't we all a work in progress?
Construction continues in Upper Fellowship Hall. Parking will still be a bit of a challenge because of the roll-off dumpster, but please don't let that stop you from coming to church and worshiping our Savior this weekend.
Work will continue for several weeks, and it's going to look great!
Watch our Services Any Time on YouTube
You can watch the service as it happens, or you can go back later and watch the ones you've missed.  church-in-the-wildwood.org/youtube  takes you to all of our past videos.  http://church-in-the-wildwood.org/live-stream takes you to our stream when we're live. If you subscribe and turn on notifications , you'll be notified when we're live!

“Effortless Change” - Sundays at 6 p.m.
Robert Zambrana and Helena Wang lead this Bible study in Tatter Hall. Robert writes, “Through this Bible study, we hope to provide participants some nuts and bolts about who the Bible says we are and how what we think in our hearts affects us. We'll be covering a total of 19 lessons; each lesson is short and interactive.” There is no need to sign up for this study; just come!

Support Our Mission Efforts
  • Wildwood Food Pantry: Our next community dinner and food box distribution is Tuesday, May 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. We need the following items: Jelly, Canned Broth, Banned Pasta, Cereal, and Saltines.
  • Bibles: There's a basket on a table in the Entry Hall that contains Bibles that were purchased by a friend of this congregation, so that everyone who wants a Bible may have one. Please help yourself; they're a gift from this generous person!
  • Westside Cares: Bring in your empty prescription bottles for WSC. They use them to provide laundry soap and other supplies to their clients. You do not need to remove the adhesive from the outside of the bottles. The collection basket is on the table in the Entry Hall.
  • Avon Fundraiser: Mindy Brink, who joined our church last Sunday, has started a fundraiser through her Avon business, to benefit our church, with a discount on insect repellant. Click on this link: https://www.avon.com/fundraiser/churchinthewildwood?rep=mbrink for details.
