JRB FINANCIAL PULSE

December 2025 — Issue #91

A Word from the CEO

We are devastated by the horrific attack in Sydney, Australia during Hanukkah. Our prayers are with the victims, their families and the entire community as they mourn this senseless act of violence. As antisemitism continues to rise around the world, the JRB remains deeply committed to supporting the Conservative Movement, helping provide financial security so our clergy, educators and professionals can continue their sacred work of caring for others.

This month’s newsletter continues our coverage of the JRB’s new Roth (after-tax) contribution option. The article discusses an important upcoming change: Beginning in 2026, certain higher income participants must make catch-up contributions on a Roth after-tax basis.

We also take a look at tax changes resulting from The One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA). It makes permanent some tax benefits, updates others and creates several new tax credits and deductions.  Our article summarizes some of the changes likely to affect you.

While the OBBBA includes many useful tax credits and deductions, increasing your JRB retirement contributions on a Traditional pre-tax basis remains one of the most powerful tax reduction strategies available. Every dollar you contribute on a pre-tax basis, up to the federal limit, reduces your taxable income today while growing tax-deferred.

If you have questions about increasing your retirement contribution, whether Roth contributions are right for you or your overall progress toward retirement, please reply to this email or call 888-JRB-FREE (572-3733).
