Comal ISD Lowered Tax Rate by 7-Cents from $1.39 to $1.32
For the second time in five years, the Comal ISD Board of Trustees lowered the district's tax rate. This decrease comes on the heels of significant changes in school finance legislation approved by the 86th Texas Legislature in June.
Life Bridges Student, Artist Wins Catalog Cover Contest
Jake Marks, a 20-year-old Life Bridges student, became the first student in Texas to win a nationwide contest for his original artwork. His illustration will soon grace the cover of a curriculum catalog. Congratulations, Jake!
Students Represent Comal ISD at Boys, Girls State Program
Comal ISD was well represented at this summer's leadership program called Boys State and Girls State. The 28 high school students got a firsthand view of how government works and what their role as a citizen plays in making it work effectively.
