The Florida Bar Tax Section Mental Health and Wellness Initiative (MHWI) offers this month's wellness tip:
The best thing you can do to improve your mental health and wellness is to invest in yourself. You are worth it, and The Florida Bar Mental Health and Wellness Center is available free of charge to help you. Please, take five minutes today to visit the wellness center. If you learn one thing that helps you or someone you know improve their mental health and wellness, then today would be a highly successful day!
The two main goals of the section's MHWI will be (1) to inform you of the many wonderful mental health and wellness resources that are already available to you (e.g., The Florida Bar Mental Health and Wellness Center), and (2) to create original resources that are specifically relevant to Tax Section members. The MHWI will seek to provide you with support for comprehensive wellness including mental health, nutrition, exercise, mindfulness, sleep, and other important health needs. Please contact section consultant Lisa Tipton at [email protected] if you would like to be added to the MHWI mailing list. Please email Christopher Callahan or Dana Apfelbaum if you would like to actively participate in developing the MHWI.
