Tea & Tonic Raises $525K & Counting!

THANK YOU for supporting survivors and preventing assault!

Mira Sorvino, Dr. Vanessa Rodriguez, and a full house of 500 supporters at Tea & Tonic served as a collective reminder to survivors that they are not alone.

The Walter J. & Betty C. Zable Foundation challenged CCS to a $150,000 “raise a paddle” match, and the response from our supporters has been powerful and inspiring. Wave after wave of bid numbers lit up the Ocean Ballroom at Hotel del Coronado last Friday, and donors unable to attend continue to contribute to this historic show of support.

Together we have raised a record $525,000, including the projected match, for programs that save and change lives throughout the county.

Special thanks to the more than 40 volunteers who helped make Tea & Tonic a success!

Keeping the Conversation Going

We want to highlight a few CCS supporters mentioned at Tea & Tonic who are adding to conversations and opportunities related to our mission:

  • The Queen Bee - is now available for digital download on Amazon! CCS supporter, Robin Toft co-authored this book with 13 other women who have all chosen to embody their truth to live a life fully expressed. The authors share stories of acceptance, motherhood, overcoming obstacles, re-imagining, trusting your path and embracing unique intuitive gifts. If you haven’t downloaded your digital copy (available on any device via the Kindle App) - download it now for just $1.99, and join the conversation!

  • Rescu, the fastest way to get help wherever, whenever you need it: GPS enabled, no talking required - just two taps on the mobile app and help is on its way to your location. Rescu, a local, veteran-founded company who cares about your safety, is providing their all-in-one emergency app free for one-year to all survivor supporters who attended Tea & Tonic.
