Students Create Hoodies To Increase Awareness Of Suicide In Athletics
Two Kettle Moraine High School seniors - Ava Sander and Hailey Hack - have created hoodies to bring attention to the increase in athletic suicides and mental health issues.

All proceeds are planned to be donated directly to NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Health, at the end of the school year. The students' goal is to sell 40 hoodies, which would raise $1,000.

Follow their instagram @athleticsuicidehoodies for updates.

Matt Kitzerow Named KMMS Principal
The Kettle Moraine School District board approved the hiring of Matt Kitzerow as the new principal of Kettle Moraine Middle School, succeeding KMMS' long-time leader Mike Comiskey, who will retire June 30. Mr. Kitzerow is currently the principal at Longfellow Middle School in La Crosse. He grew up in Oak Creek, attended the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse and taught at a number of La Crosse schools before his current position.

KM is grateful to our stakeholders - parents, staff and students - who took part in the extensive recruiting and hiring process and we are excited to add Mr. Kitzerow to our district. Click below to read a Q&A to get to know him a little!
