Dear TLE Families,
As you may know, Teacher Appreciation Week is May 2nd through the 6th. There has never been a more challenging time to be a teacher than during the COVID-19 pandemic, and we’re hoping you’ll join us in making this year’s Teacher Appreciation Week extra special for our teachers who we love so much!
Small gifts such as handwritten cards or crafts with your children's hand/footprints/picture go a long way towards making a teacher feel special.
While there is no pressure to do so, if you are interested in doing something more elaborate like catering a meal or bringing in coffee/donuts, please let Sterling or Rebecca know in advance so that we can avoid anyone accidentally doubling up on lunch or coffee.
Our Teacher Appreciation Week theme is Around the World where each day will have a themed lunch or snack:
Monday: Prepare for Take Off (Snacks Galore)
Tuesday: Mexico City, Mexico
Wednesday: Brussels, Belgium
Thursday: Florence, Italy
Friday: Hamburg, Germany
