Teacher Appreciation Month:
Hello parents!
The PCO Teacher Appreciation team wanted to take a moment to provide more detail about the upcoming Teacher Appreciation activities. We also need your help to make this event a huge success!
With Spring comes one of the best events of the year at BFCCPS... Teacher Appreciation! This year the festivities are planned all month long. Due to PARCC testing in May, it is virtually impossible to do a week of small events, so a scattering of events is planned throughout the month.
The theme for Teacher Appreciation Month is "Around the World" to celebrate all of our different backgrounds, nationalities, cultures, and traditions! On the agenda bellow, you will see that we have 1-2 events each week, and few other little treats along the way.
The Committee Chair of Teacher Appreciation Month is Malkit Hayun! Malkit is looking for volunteers and donations to help make this year a big success! Please volunteer and donate!! Sign-Up Genius will be used to request volunteers and donations. As this is a month long event, we will release MULTIPLE signup to support the activities troughout the month
What do we need to make this a SUCCESS? Your SUPPORT, which can be in many different ways. Think big about any cultural aspect you can add to the event - decoration, food, drinks etc. to match the theme. Supplies and monetary donations can be delivered to the front office and addressed to Malkit Hayun.
