Credential Programs
October 2021
Gayle will be starting her retirement earlier than expected. I am very grateful for her years of dedicated service to MCOE but particularly grateful for the years that she spent with the Teacher Induction Program. She was worried when she started working in this program that she wouldn't be able to learn all of the different technologies that we use. She jumped right in and did a great job. She has a huge heart and she truly cared about the teachers and mentors. She loved meeting you in person and putting a name to a face. In retirement, she is looking forward to spending more time with family, hiking, and volunteering. When you have a minute click on the button and leave her a message on this virtual card. It will make her day.

With gratitude,
Stacy and Jennifer

Candidates

Teaching is hard work! You have to take care of yourself in order to take care of others. REST is about charging the battery of our being, and there's absolutely no way to teach and live to your full potential without getting good at resting. And, like getting good at anything, this requires thought and practice and, oddly, work.
Mentors
Coaching
If you are a first year mentor you are required to participate in Beginning Coaching. The in person session has been canceled due to lack of enrollment. The virtual session is scheduled on November 17.
If you are a second year mentor you are required to participate in Advanced Coaching. The in person session has been canceled due to lack of enrollment. The virtual session is scheduled on November 3.
Mentor Training for TPA
If your candidate has the TPA renewal code please plan to join us at one of the TPA training for Mentors. This PD will be a great overview of what is required in the TPA, common mistakes, fatal flaws, resources and how best to support your new teachers work. Meetings will be held virtually.
