Meet the TPP Counselors
Constance Walsh

Constance Walsh has served as an adjunct instructor at Fullerton College in the Psychology department since fall 2015. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has over ten years of experience in community mental health. Originally from Portland, Oregon, she moved to Southern California in 2008, after earning her Masters in Social Work from Portland State University. Constance also provides academic counseling support to Teacher Pathway Program students. She loves working with students to help them realize their boundless potential. She also enjoys the outdoors, and can often be found with family exploring new hiking trails!

Peggy Card-Govela, M.S.
 
Peggy has been working in the community college setting for the last 7 years. She has experience working as a Program Coordinator, Adjunct ESL Counselor, Adjunct EOPS Counselor, and Anaheim Pledge Counselor at Fullerton and Santa Ana Colleges. Peggy is inspired by our students and honored to support them on their unique educational journeys. She has taught ESL to adult learners In Mexico City and ELD to middle school students in California. She earned her master's degree in Counseling, with emphasis in student development in higher education, from California State University, Long Beach. She is a proud mother of two precocious children and has been happily married for 14 years.

Welcome! Cohort 3 & 4
On August 19, 2019 the Teacher Pathway Program welcomed approximately 54 eager freshmen students.
 
This is the first time the program has hosted 2 cohorts; most of these students will be in classes together for the next 2 years as they plan for a certificate or degree.
 
During orientation week students participated in the following events: Canvas training, Mindfulness and gratitude, Six Success Factors ,Strengths Finder and a  presentation by the Transfer Center.

Students were also able to obtain their campus ID, learn about service learning, experiential opportunities and internships.
