Join us for Juneteenth Karaoke Friday night, 5-7 p.m.

This Friday, we're inviting the entire SCS family to join us as we unite for a one-of-a-kind Juneteenth celebration. The Voice of SCS crew is teaming up with "The Karaoke King" for a night of karaoke - SCS style! It's all virtual and everyone is invited, so encourage your friends, family and neighbors to tune in live on C19TV, 88.5FM and from 5-7 p.m.
The U of M is offering $4,500/yr in scholarships to grads who want to teach with SCS.

Graduating seniors who commit to become a teacher with SCS can earn $4,500 per year, plus free textbooks and student fees during freshman year. This opportunity is available until the start of the new school year through the District's River City Partnership with the U of M. Interested students can fill out the an interest form here.

Get FREE digital instruction support from TDOE and Trevecca Nazarene University.

The Tennessee Department of Education is partnering with Trevecca Nazarene University to provide FREE training on digital learning and teaching to all Tennessee teachers. The self-paced, online training is available for free  through August 1 and will help teachers develop skills for digital learning, including how to design classes for remote instruction, using technology to enhance learning outcomes for all students, applying blended or hybrid content deliveries, ADA compliance and accessibility for universal design, implementing a specialized IEP plan for content creation and more.
