Understanding our Post 9/11 World: The Impact of Terrorism and Moving into the Future in NYC
What do your students know about 9/11? Where do they get their information on this pivotal event in U.S. and world history? Get ideas and resources for introducing 9/11 in your middle school or high school classroom.

In this interactive workshop, participants will explore ways to integrate 9/11 into the Core Curriculum. Educators from the 9/11 Tribute CenterFacing History and Ourselves, and The Choices Program at Brown University will introduce materials and methods to teach about 9/11, its aftermath, and the challenges of responding to terrorism in a democracy.

$50 registration fee includes lunch, a Responding to Terrorism teachers' manual and student workbook from The Choices Program, and 9/11 Tribute Center materials.


Space is limited; RSVP does not guarantee admission. Please note each applicant cannot request more than one seat at this workshop.
