We, at the Early Learning Coalition of Northwest Florida, understand the gravity of this ever evolving situation and applaud your efforts to remain dedicated to the children and families you serve. Together, we will work our way through these uncertain times. As you continue to face this pandemic, please remember - you are not alone. We are here to support you in any and every way we can.

Guiding and Changing Behaviors
The Backpack Connection Series was created by TACSEI to provide a way for teachers and parents/caregivers to work together to help young children develop social emotional skills and reduce challenging behavior.
Whether the children you care for have a slow-burning fuse or explode like firecrackers, every child can benefit from anger management skills. As you put your best foot forward try one of the ideas linked below!
Children need adults to teach, guide, and support them as they grow and learn. Child care providers play an important role in guiding children’s behavior in positive, supportive, and age-appropriate ways. Take advantage of the strategies linked below to guide the children you care for.
Growing Stronger Together
We, at the Coalition, know the teachers in our service area will come back from COVID-19, stronger than ever because we will grow stronger together. As we enter our programs and society in the wake of this pandemic, remember the lesson learned by Chester and Wilson in Chester's Way. Sometimes there are many correct ways to do something and many fun things you have in common with everyone. Please click the link below for more stories from Story Online

Slightly Salty
Today experiment will use salt, glue, and watercolors! Those ingredients together will create some colorful and completely unique ocean art. Don't forget to let your Jellyfish rest on a solid surface to dry before it floats to its new home. For more detailed directions, please click the image to the right.
