Teaching, Training, & Inspiration

Greetings Ministry Partner,

I am excited to share with you the incredible work and experiences I've had this past month. June has been a month of growth, learning, and spreading the message of pastoral care across Cambodia.

Teacher Workshop Training in Kompong Chhnang

At the beginning of June, Sitha, Samoeun, Meas Sat and Trevor had the privilege of leading a Teacher Training Workshop (TTW) at The Bible Center in Kompong Chhnang. This training was focused on helping The Bible Center staff effectively utilize the CCI training materials. It was a rewarding experience to see the dedication and enthusiasm of the participants as they embraced these tools to enhance their teaching and leadership skills.

Pastoral Care Seminar in Battambang

On June 15, we had the privilege of teaching at a Pastoral Care seminar in Battambang. It was a truly enriching experience, connecting with so many faithful leaders.

Classes in Siem Reap City

In addition to the seminar, I have been teaching two classes in Siem Reap City. The students' excitement and eagerness to learn have been inspiring, and it's been a joy to see their progress and faithfulness.

Visit to Kompong Speu

One of the highlights of this month was visiting a class in Kompong Speu on June 27. I was deeply moved by the commitment and dedication of the students in this newly established class, which started just three weeks ago. Their passion for starting home churches and spreading God's Word in their villages is truly commendable.

One of the students shared a powerful testimony: "After studying His Word for three weeks, I realized that I need to do something in my village." This statement is a testament to the transformative power of God's Word and the impact it has on individuals' lives.

Testimony

Kunthea and Sinet, a couple who came to believe in Jesus three years ago, have a deep love for the Lord and a strong desire to study the Bible. However, they had not found the opportunity to do so until CCI began a Bible class in Kompong Speu this past May. After just three weeks of studying the first book (Bible Study Methods and Rules of Interpretation), Kunthea shared this powerful testimony to the transformative power of God's Word and the profound impact it has on individuals' lives:

"I realized that God's Word is very powerful and changed my life from an unbeliever like me to a believer. My wife and I have already agreed that we will open a home group as a new church in my house. We will invite all the children in my village to join children's activities on Wednesday and share the Gospel with adults every day."

Thank you for your continued prayers! We praise the Lord for another month of serving Him on the mission field through equipping church.

· Wisdom for Teachers: Pray for our teachers to have the wisdom to equip the saints for the work of ministry.

· Country of Cambodia: Pray for the government, its leaders, its students, its future, and for the local churches we work with to grow in Christ.

· Please pray that God raises up new trainers and coordinators to meet the need of the Gospel in Cambodia.

· Pray for Sitha, who travels 4 hours by car every Monday morning to teach at Highlands Bible Institute.
