IEA is excited to roll out a new opportunity for IEA team captains
(or other designated team leader):
the Team Captains Campaign.
The Team Captains Campaign (TCC) aims to create more leadership opportunities for riders at the local level and provide coaches with a rider who is in-the-know about all things IEA.
The TCC will work with the local Youth Board members to implement campaigns and discuss future ideas. Overall goals of the TCC are to create bridges between IEA Youth Board members and their entire Zone/Regions, host fun activities, and learn about ways to improve the IEA experience for all riders.
We are hoping the TCC will help expand YB activities throughout the entire Zone. To achieve this, TCC representatives will receive monthly
e-blasts with the YB agenda, join seasonal zoom calls with YB representatives, and help implement YB campaigns so that every area can be involved.
Despite how large IEA has grown, we are still one community.
We would like you to encourage your local teams to assign a "captain" or designated team leader to sign up for the IEA TCC. Youth members must talk to their coaches about this opportunity and receive permission to register since TCC representatives are to be selected by their coach or team members.Once you've talked to your coach, the registration link can be found below.
