Benefits Open Enrollment: New Aetna Open Access Plan
Open Enrollment is coming soon! Save the date April 22-May 10. This year is an active enrollment year and all benefits-eligible employees must take action.

This year, we are introducing a new Aetna plan. We heard your feedback and are now offering an Aetna 2700 Open Access CDHP plan. An open access plan gives members access to a larger network than our other Aetna plans, including to more than 1,200 primary care doctors, 5,900 specialists, 53 hospitals and 83 urgent care centers. This plan is an excellent choice for members who value access to additional care options.

Stay tuned to thecommons.dpsk12.org/openenrollment for more information and resources about Open Enrollment in the coming weeks.

Living Our DPS Honoree
Hanan Al-Naqeeb
Teacher, McAuliffe International School
Fun

"Hanan creates an atmosphere of joy and rigor for her eighth-grade dramatists and is always living our Shared Core Value of Fun. Every student engages in their magical performances, and the journey to get there is so fun for all students. Any student of Hanan's will tell you that theater is their favorite class! And, lest you think that she's just easy on them, you should know that she's been a top-performing teacher for the past six years. When you find a well-loved teacher that is also an amazingly inspiring role model for her students, you know she's found ‘the key’ -- and for Hanan, that key is FUN!"
