Refer Great Candidates to Team DPS, Earn a Bonus
We know that the best way to build strong teams is to recruit and retain great educators — and all members of Team DPS can support with the recruitment process!

Many of our best employees come to us through referrals from current members of the team. Here are some ways to participate:

  • Employee Referral Program: Earn a referral bonus for referring a paraprofessional, teacher, specialized service provider (SSP), school nurse and more. (Check out the list of eligible roles here.) As of Nov. 1, you can also earn a $125 referral bonus if you refer a new guest teacher. Stay tuned for more information to come on referral bonuses for fellows.

  • Recruitment/Hiring/Retention of Educators of Color: Achievement gaps continue to persist for our students of color, and we know having educators who look like our students is one of the best ways to address those gaps. Earn a referral bonus for referring a great educators of color!

Recruitment is a Team DPS activity! Thank you for your support.

CollaboRATE Survey Coming Soon
On Jan. 4, make your voice heard and strengthen your team by participating in CollaboRATE. This survey is one of the most important tools you can use to provide your leader, your team and DPS as a whole with confidential feedback that will be used to help Team DPS grow and improve.

We heard your voice and made important changes that will aim to create a more inclusive and effective survey. Leader surveys have been shortened by almost 20% for the average teacher, and voluntary and confidential self-identification questions have been added. More information on these changes is coming soon.

Check Out Resources on DPS' Food Purchasing Policy
If you have purchasing responsibilities for your team, take note! Winter break is just around the corner, and many teams are planning parties or holding strategy meetings for their work in the new year. When planning these meetings and events, make sure to follow DPS' policy for purchasing food, beverages, candy and snacks. As a reminder, purchasing food for a holiday party is not an allowable expense with district funds.

"Alli has gone above and beyond the call of duty this year to live our Shared Core Value of Students First and be there for students in need! She strives to connect with all students on a personal level and she sets aside time in her day to engage in fun and creative activities with the kids. Alli is famous for her ‘fluffy slime’ recipe! She shows up each and every morning with a smile on her face ready to take on whatever the day may bring. We at Steck Elementary are all thankful to have her on our team!"
