Attention Paraprofessionals, Food Service Workers and Custodians: Wage Increases in 2019-20
As part of DPS’ three-year strategy to increase the minimum wage to $15 an hour, all DPS paraprofessionals, food service workers and custodians will receive an hourly wage increase in the 2019-20 school year. This increase is the first step in DPS’ commitment to increase compensation for these crucial school-support roles.
Team members receiving a pay increase will receive a letter to their home address with more information about their individual pay. If you are a paraprofessional, food service worker or custodian, make sure your home address is up-to-date in Infor HR to ensure you receive your letter. Follow these instructions to update your contact information.

Living Our DPS Honoree
Shante McDonald
Bus Driver, Transportation
Students First

"Shante has been a DPS bus driver for 21 years and is always putting Students First. She is the only driver who picks up three students in wheelchairs. Shante is amazing with all of her students -- always greeting each one by name with a beautiful smile on her face! Shante and her husband were foster parents to five siblings, ranging from a baby to a teenager. Rather than watch them be split up into different families, they decided to adopt all five children! Shante is an incredible woman in her personal and professional life!"
