Living Our DPS Honoree
Justin Bale
Teacher, Denver Online High School
Fun

"Learning should be Fun! And that's exactly what Denver Online High School's computer science teacher, Justin Bale, does for our students. With the help of the CareerConnect Program, Justin was able to secure a new virtual reality system that allows our teachers to create academic replacement activities that are interactive and unique. Students will be able to draw in 3D, virtually explore the physiology of the body, walk through the Smithsonian, draw 3D math vectors and more! Justin spent much of his own time outside of work setting up this system and ironing out the kinks to make these tech tools accessible to our teachers and students. He enthusiastically loves to 'nerd out' and his energy for bringing new technology into the academic sphere ultimately brings so much FUN to learning for both our students and our teachers!"
-- Kaci Sintek, Denver Online High School
