Historic wins for Team Haiti Swimming with 4 Medals and 6 new Haitian Records scored at the CARIFTA Games in Barbados!
The Haitian National Swim Team sent a 4 person delegation (3 Athletes, Laila Michel, Emilie Grand’Pierre and Alexandre Grand’Pierre and Coach Stacey Blitsch) to the Carifta Games in Barbados April 19-24.
A Silver Medal was won by Alexandre Grand’Pierre who’s second place finish of 2:25.40 set a new Haitian Record and qualified Haiti for the Pan American Games in Peru this August.

A Bronze Medal was won by Alexandre Grand’Pierre who’s third place finish of 1:07.35 set a new Haitian Record

Laila Michel finished top 15 in the 100m fly setting a new Haitian Record of 1:10.19.

Alexandre Grand’Pierre finished top 10 in the 50m breast setting a new Haitian Record of 31.90.

Emilie Grand’Pierre finished top 5 in the 100 m Breast setting a new Haitian Record of 1:19:42 .

 A Bronze Medal was won by Emilie Grand’Pierre in the 50m breaststroke. Her morning swim of 35.64 set a new Haitian Record .

A Bronze Medal was won by Emilie Grand’Pierre in the 200m breaststroke. Her morning swim of 2:51.81 set a new Haitian Record
