Hello friends,
A heartfelt THANK YOU to all of you who support our work at the Goodnow Library Foundation. From our volunteers who showed up in force to make the Book Nook's Book Sale a huge success, to the Library staff with whom we collaborate to plan all our efforts and events, to our donors who provide the resources so that we can do our part to ensure Goodnow's continued excellence - We are so very grateful!
Are there other ways that you can help? Yes! Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram ( @goodnowlibraryfoundation for both) and share our posts with your friends. The more people we engage in our work, the better for Goodnow! Thank you.
Warmly,
Holly

Goodnow Book Nook:
Another Sale in the Books
|
|
The GLF is grateful for another successful in-person book sale, hosted by the Goodnow Book Nook on May 6 and 7. Attendees were able to fill a bag (or two or three...) with books to purchase, and we are happy to report that the Book Nook raised more than $3,000 that will all go toward programming and activities at Goodnow.
Since the launch of the Book Nook in 2021, proceeds from its book sales (online and in-person) have funded gingerbread house kits, a volunteer appreciation lunch at Goodnow, MetroWest Readers Fest books, and — coming up! — a trackless train for the Touch a Truck event on July 13 at Goodnow. Thank you to everyone — book donors, volunteers, and book purchasers — for your support!

Thank you Coast & Country Boutique
|
|
On March 31st, Coast & Country Boutique generously donated 10% of all purchases back to the GLF. This was a community win-win! We love collaborations and supporting local businesses. Don't forget to visit:

"When my husband and I decided to leave Boston and find a home for our growing family, I knew I had to do my research. It was clear to us that Sudbury had great schools, lots of open space, and was a safe place to raise kids. I wanted to know more about the personality of the town though, so I made a trip to the Goodnow Library. Seeing the building, watching the people come and go from the space, and soaking in the sense of community I felt at the Library helped me know that Sudbury would be the right fit for us!" - Marisa Lutz, GLF Board member

Marisa is currently a member of the Development team at the Foundation for MetroWest where she works to raise funds and awareness for the nonprofit organizations in our community. In her free time, Marisa enjoys reading, running, and cheering on her kids on at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School.

Your gifts make an impact on the vitality of the Library. For this we are grateful and we know that Goodnow would not be the same without you.
