Frank Muradov, a long-time iGEM Advisor/Judge, and former Columbia admissions team member, would share the importance of engaging in meaningful extracurricular activities and achievements (beyond grades, test scores and essays). iGEM competition is not only about genetics, biotechnology or science but also about entrepreneurship, leadership and global competition.
Epiphany's exclusive one hour webinar would bring together Sunyoung Oh, President/Advisor, and Frank Muradov, Director/Advisor, and one of iGEM student captains, to talk about the requirements and qualifications to join our 2024 iGEM team competition.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

The Brooklyn Tech PA needs your help to provide critical funding for our students’ academics, extracurricular activities, and supplies. Our goal for the 2023-2024 school year is to raise $400,000 to support our 6,000+ student body. We have raised nearly 60% of our goal, but only 15% of families have donated.

Every donation, regardless of size, is needed and appreciated. Just this past week, the Brooklyn Tech PA used $35,000 to purchase items for the Teacher's Wish List. This fund helped many departments such as History, Special Ed, Health, English, Phys Ed, Guidance, and many more. Some big donations to various departments included:

  • $4,500 for Biology
  • $1,350 for Chemistry
  • $5,000+ for Math and Physics
  • $2,000+ for Music

Without your donation, we would not be able to support our students and teachers by getting necessities for their classes and after-school activities.

If you haven’t given yet, there’s still time. Please, please help us reach our year-end goal by donating HERE. Every penny gets us closer to our goal.

And a reminder to all of our generous donors: your donation can go even further with company matching. With just a little paperwork, some companies will match or even double their employees’ donation! Please contact your HR department to see if your company offers Matching Gifts.
