December 2024

Dear Valued Technion Supporter,

Thank you for your unwavering support of Technion Canada throughout this challenging year. As 2024 draws to a close, we face an urgent need to support our student reservists who have been called to serve during these difficult times.

The Technion has mobilized comprehensive support for these students—providing financial assistance, academic accommodations, and crucial emotional support. However, to maintain this level of care and ensure these students can seamlessly return to their studies, we need your help.

Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of the Bernard & Norton Wolf Family Foundation, your impact will be doubled! With Chanukah just around the corner, we are reminded that even the smallest light can dispel great darkness—and in this spirit, every gift you make before December 31st will be matched dollar for dollar up to $50,000, creating twice the light and support for our student reservists.

Thank you again for being an integral part of our Technion family.

Shabbat Shalom,

Elysa Greisman

National Executive Director

Technion Canada

TECHNION PROJECTS

The Aerospace Engineering Building

The Technion’s Faculty of Aerospace Engineering (FAE) is central to Israel’s security efforts and ranks among the world’s top 20 in its field. However, the faculty still operates in the original building, constructed over 70 years ago, which no longer meets safety standards or space requirements due to a 33% increase in students and faculty. The Technion is seeking additional funding for its Aerospace Capital Fund to restore, expand, and maintain the building, with naming opportunities for individual facilities.
