I loved our ebook  Isaac Asimov’s Caliban when I was traveling through Germany. It whittled away the time just fine standing for hours in an over packed train to the Frankfurt Airport. Written by Roger MacBride Allen I found it as smart and entertaining as Arthur C Clarke.

Sally
I’ve been listening to the audiobook versions of the Old Kingdom Trilogy by Australian author Garth Nix. I read the first three years ago but am enjoying the excellent narration by English actor Tim Curry. Ebook formats are also available.

Gail
Loved the series of audiobooks by Vicki Delany with policewoman Molly Smith as the main character. Set in British Columbia, the first in the series is In the Shadow of the Glacier.

I’m enjoying a range of magazine via PressReader including titles in the current affairs area: The Guardian, Newsweek International, the Monthly and AQ: Australian Quarterly.

Lesley
I’ve been using Press Reader a lot, too, in recent times. However, my reading tends to be … um … not current affairs and news! A little bit of escapism for me!

I’ve been trying to revive my French so love looking at all the French magazines and newspapers in PressReader. There are also lots of movies available in Kanopy. Recently I enjoyed La Famille Bélier (The Bélier Family) – a delight in English or in French! Bande de Filles (Girlhood) is on my to-watch list.
