CONTEST WINNERS  
 
Presented by the Moffat Library Teen Advisory Board and sponsored by the Friends of Moffat Library, the Library held its 15th annual Teen Art Show & Contest in March.  

The fantastic artwork by the teens was on display at the Library the week of March 11th.  Artwork was judged by professional artists, who generously donated their time for the program.  An Awards Ceremony and reception took place on Sunday, March 18th, where families and friends were on hand to support the teens.  The Friends of Moffat Library also were there to host the Awards Ceremony and provided tasty goodies for guests.

Awards were grouped into 4 categories: High School, Middle School, Staff Choice & TAB Teen Choice Awards.  The winners were:

MEET THE AUTHORS' LUNCHEON
Sunday, April 8 @ 12 noon - 4 PM
at Round Hill House (110 Round Hill Road) Washingtonville

Bestselling novelists, Alison Gaylin and Randy Susan Meyers will be on hand to talk about their writing process and to speak on their books. Alison Gaylin is a writer of crime fiction, including What Remains of Me and Hide Your Eyes.  Randy Susan Meyers' books include the Widow of Wall Street and Accidents of Marriage.  Following the talk, you can meet the authors and get signed copies of their books.  Books will be available for purchase at the event.  This is sure to be an enlightening afternoon you won't want to miss!

Tickets are $35.00 and include lunch.

CAN YOU PROTECT DAISY'S EGGS ?
Saturday, April 7th @  2 PM

Think you can protect a raw egg from a long fall?
Join us on Saturday, April 7th @ 2 PM to build a shield for your egg and test your engineering skills! Entrants will be divided by grade level where necessary. Fun for all!

INTERESTED IN YOUR GENEOLOGY?

W e now have Ancestry.com available at the library through a generous donation from the Friends of Moffat Library!

One way of becoming acquainted with Ancestry.com is to attend a Genealogy Club session (seen above) with certified genealogist Jill Lemaster-Moore.
These sessions take place at the library on the 1st Thursday each month @ 6:30 PM. 

Registration is required for these sessions.
