Under the Same Stars
by Libba Bray

Bray impeccably weaves together three seemingly different stories in different timelines: Hannah and Sophie in World War II Kleinwald, Germany, Jenny and Lena in 1980s Berlin, Germany, and Chloe and Miles in 2020 New York City. Each set of friends faces ethical challenges in their era that beautifully demonstrate the importance of knowing history and learning from it.
