REQUIRED REGISTRATION FORMS and a link to online registration are available at the bottom of this email. Registering your child via our online registration portal does not fulfill the registration document requirement. These are separate and are due by 3/6/26.

This Saturday, January 31st, we will be bringing back our Teen Trek Camp registration. Please read the following information carefully and thoroughly to ensure a seamless registration process for you and your camper(s).

 

This year, registration for all Town and School District residents will take place online and in person starting on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 10:00am. Please review the office hours below if you would like to register your child in person for the Teen Treks Camp program at the Parks & Recreation Office (these are in addition to our regular hours of Monday-Friday from 9am-4:30pm):

 

Saturday, January 31st from 10:00am – 12:00pm

Thursday, February 5th from 5:00pm – 7:30pm

**Non-residents may register for any available spots on Wednesday, February 18th at 9am**

 

Paperwork Due by March 6th

Attached to this e-mail is the necessary paperwork (also located on our website under the Teen Treks Camp tab) which is needed to secure your child’s registration along with a copy of your child’s immunizations. We have also included a checklist to help organize and keep track of all the necessary paperwork.

 

If you are registering online, please either scan these documents and email them to recreation2@lewisborony.gov or drop off/mail them to our office (99 Elmwood Road, South Salem, NY 10590). If you are registering in person, please have copies with you when you arrive. 

The office staff will contact you if your file is missing any documents.

 

Please note: Failure to submit documents will result in the cancellation of your registration. Space for this program is limited so please act fast and get your paperwork submitted quickly.

 

Friend Requests

While we will try our hardest to accommodate all friend requests, please be aware that we are required to adhere to very specific camper to counselor ratios as per the Westchester County Department of Health. Groups MUST have a 1:12 counselor to camper ratio. Because of this, we always prioritize friend requests over group demographics. Your camper may be placed with campers older/younger, or of a different gender, but will have their one requested friend guaranteed.

Please only write ONE friend request on the registration form. If you write multiple names, only the first will be honored.

  

Camp Dates & Information

The full upcoming camp season will run from Monday, June 29th to Friday, August 7th. The department will offer two programs for 7th – 10th graders; a 5-day program (Monday – Friday) and a 3-day program (Tuesday – Thursday) and each of these programs will have a maximum number of 96 campers. The 5-day program will go on trips to local facilities (bowling, local tours, arcades, etc.) on Mondays and Fridays. Tuesday through Thursday, all campers will travel to the traditional larger trips (amusement parks, tours, baseball games).


5 Day Program Dates (no camp 7/3):

Full: June 29 - August 7

Session 1: June 29 - July 17

Session 2: July 20 - August 7


3 Day Program Dates (no camp 7/3):

Full: June 30 - August 6

Session 1: June 30 - July 16

Session 2: July 21 - August 6

 

These camp programs are for the mature and responsible teen/pre-teen. All campers must know how to swim in order to attend any trips with water involved and will be given a swim test on Tuesday, June 30th to determine eligibility on water trips. If your camper won’t be present on June 30th, then you will need to make arrangements with the pool director or aquatics director to get your child tested in June. You can contact them any time after Memorial Day weekend at (914)977-8046 during pool hours.

 

On some trips, 8th – 10th graders will have the opportunity to go off in small groups and will have regular check-in times scheduled throughout the day. Abuse of this privilege can result in suspension or dismissal from camp without a credit or refund.

Transportation To/From Camp

Transportation is provided at no extra cost from specific locations within Lewisboro/Katonah (see registration form for locations). We highly encourage, but do not require, you to register for bus transportation. If you need transportation, you MUST register for it. The deadline to register for this service is Monday, June 1.

 


Parks & Recreation Accounts

Please note that you must have an account with us prior to registration day. We will not be creating accounts the day of registration. We can also not guarantee that your account will be created if requested on or after January 30th

What To Bring for In Person Registration

1) Payment (we accept credit cards, cash or checks payable to Town of Lewisboro)

2) Attached forms (registration form, off-site permission slip and behavior policy - print & sign by both parent and child)

3) Official copy of immunization record from your child’s physician (this needs to be submitted yearly).

 

Again, all registrations will only be fully processed when all forms are completed, and the correct payment is received – NO EXCEPTIONS! 

 

Refund Information

Refund/credit requests asked for by the registered participant’s family for the Teen Treks program will only be approved if there is a waitlist and your child can be replaced and with the following stipulations: The Town will grant a full refund if a replacement camper can be found minus a $25 processing fee if the refund request is made on or before Friday, April 24th, 2026. A partial refund of 50% of the camp cost will be granted after Friday, April 24th, 2026 if a replacement camper can be found along with the $25 processing fee.
