"Teens Need Families, No Matter What"
November is
National Adoption Month, and the 2017 theme "Teens Need Families, No Matter What" highlights the importance of identifying well-prepared and committed families for the thousands of teens in foster care. On National Adoption Day, Nov. 17, 26 children and teens in MA will be officially adopted into 20 forever families. Celebrations will be held throughout the state on this joyous day!
CFCS has long specialized in finding loving, temporary homes for youth while working towards a goal of permanent placement through adoption. Every November, we celebrate new forever families and long-awaited lifelong connections; but it is equally important to recognize all of the children who are still without permanent families -- about 6,120 in MA alone remain in foster care waiting for parents.

November Memory
Café
Join us at CFCS on
Saturday 11/11, 10am-noon, for our November Memory Café! The City of Cambridge will hold its first Service Members and Veterans Appreciation Week Nov. 6-11, 2017. In conjunction with this week of recognition, the theme of our November Memory Café will include creating cards, letters, and other art projects for service members. Participants are welcome to bring items to donate for care packages.
