Survivors Receive Treatment in Special Program
After the Nazis invaded France when she was a little girl, Helen Bright survived the Holocaust by staying with a series of rural families who were paid to harbor Jewish children. One family starved the children in their care, including Helen, and while others met her basic needs, she didn’t feel loved.
Bright is one of nearly a dozen Holocaust survivors receiving free oral health care as part of a partnership with the Jewish Federation of MetroWest, NJ. LEARN MORE

Bien-Air Gift Helps Students Transition to Electric Handpieces

Bien-Air USA, Inc. has helped RSDM prepare students for a major shift in the dental profession—the transition from air-driven handpieces to electric. Within the past year or so, the company donated and installed 406 electric systems throughout the entire dental school so RSDM students could have the opportunity to switch over to the new technology. New Alumni Association Secretary/Treasurer Elected

The RSDMAA is pleased to announce the result of the recent 2021 election. The newest member to the Executive Board of the RDSM Alumni Association in the role of Secretary/Treasurer is Dr. Valerie Rico ’88. The RSDMAA would like to thank Dr. Robert Shekitka, ‘77, for his past eight years of service on the Executive Board, especially for the most recent two years as president during the pandemic. The official induction of officers for the 2021 - 2023 term will take place during the RSDMAA Annual Meeting being held virtually the evening of Wednesday, October 6, 2021.
