President's Message

By: Brandy Meeker

If you missed our January meeting, you missed a great time! We had some wonderful, patriotic, inspiring entertainment. The candidate forum between Ian Weeks and Ceci Truman was very good. We would be very fortunate to have either of them represent us in Congress. Samantha Sobarzo from the National Republican Hispanic Assembly gave an inspirational talk about putting yourself out there and doing all we can to take back our state and country.

This month we will feature Dr. Donohoe who will fill us in on his lawsuit against Gavin Newsom and the State of California. Over the last few years, we have had many close calls with medical tyranny in this state. Dr. Donohoe isn't taking it lying down. Come and hear what he has to say about how we can join him in this most important battle.

Joining us for the after-lunch session will be Milana Cubana. She is the Riverside County Lead for Turning Point USA. Milana uses her insight as a minority to raise awareness on lies targeting her community and works to save her young generation from liberal ideology. She also works to expose the truth about "gender affirming" care. Bring your younger family members to hear the truth from someone closer to their age they might actually listen to!

We are currently seeking a volunteer to assist our treasurer. Basic accounting experience is a plus, but not necessary.

We are also looking for someone to be a co-chair for our membership chair.

Please contact me if you are interested in either of these volunteer oppotunies. president@tvrwomen.org

Alongside becoming a member is volunteering. Although you don't have to be a member to volunteer. Volunteering Weaves Us Together.

"The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” – Gandhi.

"Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they have the heart.”

– Elizabeth Andrew.

“We cannot live only for ourselves. A thousand fibers connect us with our fellow men.” – Herman Melville.

Helping others is the idea and the primary goal of volunteering. Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, and share your talents, learn new skills and puts you in the position to make an impact in society and your community.

January Luncheon

Dr. Todd Donohoe

As the Only Board Certified Pediatric and Prenatal Chiropractor in Riverside County, Dr. Donohoe offers Holistic Pediatric Primary Care for children newborn to 5 years old. Over his 26 years in practice, he has established himself as an expert in his field and has earned the trust of local colleagues in other disciplines such as pediatricians, fellow chiropractors and OB/GYNs. His background in Functional Medicine has equipped him to help a wide variety of health conditions getting to the root cause.

Dr. Donohoe is the proud father of 4 grown children and two amazing grandsons. He has been a longstanding advocate for informed consent in birth and all medical decisions for his family and community. As an experienced father, he has navigated all forms of education for his family from charter, private, public schools, and homeschooling.

In August 2023, Dr. Donohoe with his attorneys, Advocates for Faith and Freedom filed a lawsuit against the state of California challenging SB277 signed into law in 2015 removing religious exemptions for children to attend school. Every family has the right to exercise their personal liberty. It is unconstitutional, immoral and ultimately illegal to mandate any medical procedure that goes against a person's religious beliefs. In fall of 2023 the Mississippi Supreme Court was the first state in the nation to reinstate religious exemptions. The precedent has been set. California will be next!

Milana Cubana

Milana Cubana is Riverside County Lead for Turning Point USA and Blexit America. She is also media director and interviewer for Erin Friday’s organization called Our Duty, where she uncovers the truth about “gender-affirming” care on minors. Coming from a Hispanic immigrant family, Milana uses her insight as a minority to raise awareness on lies targeting her community and works to save her young generation from liberal ideology.

By Maria Leanza

Hello ladies. The March election is coming soon. There is one important area where we definitely need volunteers and that is VOTER REGISTRATION! REPUBLICANS ARE WAY BEHIND DEMOCRATS IN VOTER REGISTRATION in California. I will need some people to go out with me and get the people who are not registered or are having doubts about their party. Please contact me Maria at Leanza.maria@verizon.net or text or call me at 951-551-7626. You can also come talk to me at any luncheon meeting. Let’s get involved!
