Community Service:
Still collecting!

Wendy White Blankets
Tempe Yarn will be collecting small 14 x 14 inch knitted or crocheted white blankets for Wendy White Blankets. This
is a program at our local hospitals, Mercy Gilbert and Chandler Regional Hospital.

The blankets are given to women who have recently lost a baby. We feel that our Tempe Yarn customers can help fill this need as an ongoing Community Service Project. The blankets can be made with any white yarn and must be 14 by 14 inches square.

This is a great way to try a new stitch pattern or stretch your skills by finding different patterns to experiment with. Both Crochet and Knitting are accepted. If you need help finding yarn or ideas, come in to Tempe Yarn and we will be glad to help you.

Our goal at Tempe Yarn & Fiber is to treat everyone who comes to our shop the way we want to be treated when we visit other local businesses.

We hope this newsletter helps you keep up on events and specials that interest you, and invite you come join us at the shop any time.

As always, we appreciate your business and support. Thank you for choosing to shop local, it makes a difference.

Amanda, Candy, Terry,  Fred
and the rest of the family at Tempe Yarn.
