Dehumidifying Air Handlers 

Temperature and humidity control in classrooms can present significant HVAC engineering challenges, particularly in southern states. 

Occupant discomfort, inadequate ventilation, mold growth, and equipment noise can be significant issues.

Temspec's dual coil/dual fan dehumidifying air handlers are designed to meet the challenges of temperature and humidity control in high-humidity applications. 

The outdoor air passes through a pre-treatment coil, dedicated to the dehumidification of outside air before it mixes with the return air while a second coil conditions the mixed air.

A wide selection of options are available including:

• Special salt protection coatings on coils
• Electric or hot water heating
• Chilled water or split DX cooling
• Top free discharge plenums
