  • Please remember to try to reach out and connect with a fellow congregant. THANK YOU to all of you who have been working those phones. If you need a phone number please call the office so we can get you “connected.” Every call has special meaning.
  • Share your story about how you are managing during COVID-19 or other Messenger submissions about anything related to Judaism or Israel with our marketing & communications coordinator, Lex Calaguas, at lcalaguas@templebethsholomfl.org. We will try to share as many as we can in The Messenger and/or on our Facebook page! 

  • Keeping it clean! Anyone needing to physically come to TBS please call the office to set-up a time. We require a face mask and the use of hand sanitizer once you enter. We have markings on the office floor that we ask you to look for as we are following the social distancing rules.

  • Shabbat Meal Drive Thru: This is a good time to exchange any items/messages with a fellow congregants who are coming to pick-up a meal. We are happy to be the go between if given specific instructions. MANY thanks to everyone who has been and continues to support TBS Catering with the purchase of Shabbat take-out meals.

  • Food Drive: Thank you to Susan Prohofsky, Julie & Don Friedman, and Felicia & Joel Servetz who packed up food contributions and made TBS’ first donation to needy families on July 3rd. Let’s keep those non-perishable food items coming!

  • High Holidays: Your TBS Board, Covid-19 Task Force, and Ritual Committee are busy working on High Holiday plans, and we thank everyone for the hard work and dedication being put forth to have a meaningful experience. Information will be out soon so stay tuned!  

  • Our TBS Shabbat take-out meals are proving to be a success and a welcomed option during Covid-19. This week over 100 brisket meal kits are being prepared by Susan McCann in the kitchen with help from Sam and Lauren Haven & Adele Tannenbaum. Don’t miss out on this culinary delight. August menus are posted here

Upcoming Shabbat Meals & Food Drive Update
Thank you for supporting our weekly Shabbat meals! Be sure to order early. There is a limit of 100 meals available.

We are also offering boxes of Shabbat candles at pick-up for $9 and $9.50 per box of 72 depending on your choice. We ask that you send a check later to TBS Sisterhood.

We have collected over 300lbs of food so far
TBS summer-long food drive!

Let's help those in need. TBS cares! We are accepting canned goods and non-perishable food.

Please drop off donations during Shabbat dinner pick-up or drop them in the bin by the front doors anytime Tuesday-Thursday all summer.

All donations dropped off during the Temple Beth Food Drive will be distributed to those who need it most in the Sarasota community.
