JPAC Action Alert: Combatting BDS
This is a JPAC Action Alert shared by our Temple's Israel Action Committee, regarding the California Combating BDS Against Israel Act of 2016, which is being heard in the Senate Appropriations Committee on August 1.  The Jewish Public Affairs Committee of California (JPAC) is the largest single-state coalition of Jewish organizations in the nation. Temple Emanu-El is a very active member of the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) of the Jewish Federation of Silicon Valley, which is part of the JPAC coalition.   Click here to read the alert.

Put on your dancin' shoes and join our free dancing class taught by our very own Loui Tucker. This class takes place on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month. No dance experience necessary and we welcome everyone from the community to join.

Sisterhood Shabbat

Members of Temple Emanu-El Sisterhood participate in leading an Erev Shabbat service once a year. Our women come together to lead Friday night service, chanting their favorite Hebrew blessings, and sharing special poems and readings. Come support Sisterhood for all they do for Temple Emanu-El.

Opening at Hatikvah House 
Hatikvah House is a lovely Jewish home for six adults with developmental disabilities located in Campbell, CA.  We are a licensed, level 3, staff-operated residential program providing services and support in an environment that embraces Jewish values and traditions.  Each resident participates in a structured schedule of activities that is responsive to their individual needs and services plan.  Hatikvah House currently has one opening for an adult age 18-59 with challenges in cognitive, self-help, and social functioning.  For more information click here.
