Now is the perfect opportunity to add your photo to your Temple account online.  Our online roster allows you to see people's photos!

The perfect way to teach your children about Shabbat!  Led by Rabbi Magat and Cantor Simerly, families with young children will enjoy upbeat songs, a short story, and a talk with the Rabbi on the bimah.  All are welcome to these brief services on the third Friday of each month, starting at 6:00 PM. Stay after services and enjoy a delicious dinner provided by Sisterhood, of course at no charge!

The Israel Action Committee and Temple Emanu-El are honored to have Tammi Rossman-Benjamin come and speak at our Temple.  Tammi is the co-founder and director of the AMCHA-initiative, was nominated for Jewish-Hero of the Year, and will speak on the environment for Jewish students on college campuses.  Please join us for bagels at 10:30 AM followed by her speech at 11:00 AM.  RSVP to [email protected].

Need a better way to spend your lunch hour?  Join Rabbi Magat on the fourth Wednesday of each month for an informal study and discussion session of a selected Torah portion. We will navigate through traditional interpretations and modern applications of our historic teachings.  Bring your lunch and be ready to get a new perspective on Torah. Open to members and non-members and no previous Torah study is required.

Featuring the musical stylings of our Rock Shabbat Band!  An innovative and joyous worship experience with musicians (piano, percussion, guitars, trombone, etc.) and singers joining Cantor Meeka Simerly and Rabbi Dana Magat. Congregational singing is definitely encouraged, as is dancing in the aisles.  Join us as we welcome the Sabbath in a fun and lively manner.  All members and non-members are invited to a service like you've never been to before.  We will also be honoring all of our graduating seniors at this service.  Our Rock Shabbat service is preceded by a wine and cheese reception that is open and welcome to anyone.

Join Rabbi Dana Magat and your Temple Emanu-El community for a Shabbat at URJ Camp Newman! Festivities include a reception with our Camp Directors, Shabbat dinner, singing, and dancing.
