Is it time for Religious School already!? Summer disappeared quickly!

Our first day of Religious school is Sunday, September 8th! We've got a lot planned, from a pancake breakfast, to an Open House & BBQ! Everything starts at 8:30am! More details below!
Important Upcoming Events
Paws Shabbat in Nature
September 7 - 10:30am

Join us for Paws Shabbat in Nature at Ed Levin County Park! We're excited to offer this wonderful, outdoor Shabbat experience to include your dog.  There is a $5 fee to enter the county park. We will be congregating at the gazebo, just past the lake. After Shabbat services, there will be a veggie potluck lunch available. 

Please note that all dogs are required to stay on leash until they are at the dog run.


Religious School & Pancake Breakfast
September 8th - 8:30am

Can you believe that it's already time for Religious School? The first day is on September 8th! We've got a lot happening that day, from a pancake breakfast to start your morning!

Brotherhood Open House & Back-to-School BBQ!

We are very excited to start a brand new school year! We are hosting an Open House for prospective families to learn about the classes and offerings here at TEE! Invite your friends to take a tour!


After school, the Brotherhood is hosting their annual BBQ that you don't want to miss!

Lunch and Learn with Rabbi Magat
September 11 - 12:00pm

Bring your lunch to TEE and join Rabbi Magat for an educational discussion. This week, he will be addressing Judaism, and what changes our country has seen in the 18 years since the September 11th attacks.

Baby Shabbat

After the summer hiatus, we are happy to have Baby Shabbat back for the Fall!Temple Emanu-El presents a Shabbat experience geared towards families with children ages 1-30 months. Everyone is welcome!

Our 20/20 project is an exciting endeavor to reinvigorate the Temple Emanu-El campus that reflects our commitment to the future while staying true to our past.

Silicon Valley Survivors Holocaust Association
September 8 - 10:30am

The Silicon Valley Holocaust Survivors Association gathers the second Sunday of each month for a bagel brunch from 10:30am-1:00pm. You don’t have to be a survivor of the Shoah (Holocaust) to join this group. We are open and inclusive to everyone who is interested in our group and the speakers and programs we offer.

JCC Power of Women
September 15

This year's Power of Women will be unlike any before! With emphasis on power, Power of Women 2.0 is all about bringing together the community in the spirit of lifting women up.

No solicitations. No awards. Just powerful women.

Climate Fair
September 22 - 11am

Take action on climate change. Learn what’s happening locally and what you can do.

Information, tabling, and giveaways by local governments and community groups. There will also be special activities for children and families.

This is a free event and is open to the public.

JCC Los Gatos Lunch & Opera Overview
September 27 - 10am

Enjoy a catered hot lunch followed by entertainment. Please reserve your spot in advance. Cost is $6 JCC members, $8.50 non-members. This month’s lunch will include a West Bay Opera Season Overview. The West Bay Opera has been bringing the performing arts to Palo Alto and the Peninsula for six decades. General Director José Luis Moscovich will give an overview of the 2019-20 season.
