Rosh Chodesh
Sunday, January 29 at 12:30 PM
Ladies, join us on Sunday, January 29th for a relaxed lunch and spiritually uplifting experience as Cantor Amanda guides us through a "fragrant" seder to welcome the new month of Shevat. This Rosh Chodesh experience is open to all adult women in the congregation, and will take place from 12:30 PM until about 1:30PM. Each Rosh Chodesh experience will focus on different ideas and have different activities, and in this one, we'll use our senses--particularly our sense of smell--to guide us through a short, meditative seder. We will embrace the new month that, during which, in Israel, trees begin to blossom. Please come and see what this relaxing and rewarding experience is all about!

Under the direction of Cantor Amanda, the MazelTones will lead 2-3 musical pieces during each Family Shabbat service, once a month. Our first 2 rehearsals will be Sunday, February 12 and 26 from 12:30-1:30 PM. We will have lunch in the Temple House followed by a rehearsal in the Sanctuary. Our first Family Shabbat service will be March 3. If your child is unsure, please encourage him/her to give the first rehearsal a try to see if s/he would like to continue to participate.
