Camperships are Available Online!
Due Monday, March 6
Youth Enrichment Scholarship Opportunities (Camperships) are now available on our website.  This year, Passover candy sale revenue will all be used for Jewish Enrichment Opportunities.  Order forms can be found in the Gift Shop, at Religious School, or in the Temple Administrative Office.  We have an anonymous donor who has agreed to match all the profits from the candy sale! Please be sure to try to sell as much as you can. Remember that out of town friends and relatives can order off the Miss Chocolate website ( http://www.misschocolate.com/candy/index.php) directly using the school code 704652. There will be additional fundraising opportunities at the Purim carnival so keep your eyes open.
Help San Jose Today!
The recent flooding in San Jose has impacted many in our community.  We have a committee of dedicated Temple members working closely with other community members and the Red Cross. The current demand is for CASH donations and for volunteers.  Anyone interested in being a stand-by volunteer for the Red Cross should connect with Jan Phinick, 408-615-1605. Please feel free to drop your cash donations at Temple Emanu-El and we will pass them along to where they are needed. The Salvation Army is a distribution center for supplies.  Coats, clothing, blankets, pet supplies, diapers, wipes, toiletries, etc. will all be accepted at Temple Emanu-El and taken to The Salvation Army.

Student Mitzvah Project
Through May 21
Josh Tucker and Jeremy Meltzer are joining together for their mitzvah project. We are helping out the organization Pitch In For Baseball which gives kids who can't afford baseball gear the chance to play. We are collecting gear and money for this cause. We hope you'll help out as well. There will be a box outside the synagogue for you to put new or gently used baseball gear in. The box will be there until the end of religious school (May 21). Also, you can donate money, using the link below. Thanks for your help!
