Temple Emanu-El Green Team
The Temple's Green Team is looking for recommendations for professionals who provide environmental audits.  The Green Team would like to have the temple audited to learn where improvements in water, gas and electric services can be made.  Additionally we want to learn what products we use on the premises that may not be environmentally friendly or sustainable.  Do you know a professional who can help?  Please send your recommendations to to@templesanjose.org.  You can also use this email to let us know if you'd like to join the team.

Become a JFS Friendly Visitor -- Make A Real Difference in the Life of An Isolated Senior!
JFS is in need of empathetic and committed volunteers to become Friendly Visitors.  A JFS Friendly Visitor is matched up with an isolated senior for a weekly or every other week visit and they form lasting friendships with the senior. Our Friendly Visitors say that they get so much more than they give. Volunteers must be amenable to JFS' screening process.  For more information, contact Lori Cinnamon at  loric@jfssv.org.
