Babies and bagels and blessings, oh my! Join other parents on the second Saturday of every month for a Shabbat experience geared towards families with children ages 0-30 months.  Little ones will enjoy a service full of Shabbat songs, Torah stories, and parachute play!  Kiddush, motzi, and a bagel oneg sponsored by Temple Emanu-El Sisterhood will follow this fun-filled program.  This is a great opportunity for parents of young children to meet and form groups with their peers-maybe even lifelong friends!
EESY Casino Night and Shul-In

All 8th -12th graders! Please join Temple Emanu-El's Senior Youth Group, EESY, for our annual Casino Night, combined with our Shul In filled with casino games, karaoke, dinner, and much more! Youth Enrichment Scholarships
Apply by Sunday, March 11
Applications for scholarships for Jewish summer programs are now being accepted by the Youth Enrichment Fund Committee through March 11.  All who apply will receive a minimum of $100 and we will be awarding two $1000 merit scholarships which, when matched by Newman, will cover the ENTIRE cost of a 10 day session.  Need based awards are also available.  Applications are available on our website.

Led by Rabbi Magat and Cantor Edmondson, families with young children will enjoy upbeat songs, a short story, and a talk with the Rabbi on the bimah during these brief services. The perfect way to introduce your little ones to the tradition of Friday nights. Following services, enjoy a delicious dinner provided by Sisterhood, at no charge!

Ladies, please join us on Sunday, March 18, for a relaxed lunch and a spiritually uplifting experience as Cantor Edmondson helps us welcome the new month of Nisan. This Rosh Chodesh experience, co-sponsored by the Temple Ritual Committee and Sisterhood, is open to all adult women in the congregation. We will take this opportunity to celebrate and honor Miriam - the woman who brought song and dance to our ancestors after being freed from Egypt - by making our own timbrels! Please come, enjoy lunch lovingly provided by Sisterhood, and see what this relaxing and rewarding experience is all about! A $15 donation for supplies is encouraged. Mitzvah Project
March 4 to April 16
Recent B'nai Mitzvah students, Rachel Weinberg of Temple Emanu-El and Sylvie Loh of Shir Hadash, are running a drive to collect gently used or new kitchen supplies for refugees in need. The collected items will be donated to the Jewish Family Services for refugee families. These families are in desperate need of kitchen items like pots and pans, spatulas, utensil sets, etc. Donated items must all be in good condition or new. There will be a box located in the sanctuary foyer where you can bring your donations.  Thank you for your donations!

Help Feed the Community this Passover
March 7-23
Please help JFS collect and distribute Passover Food to families and seniors in our community by placing food in the JFS bins at Temple Emanu-El.  We appreciate your contributions of Matzah, Horseradish, Matzah Ball Soup, Tea, Gefilte Fish, Grape Juice, Macaroons, Cakes, Cookies, Fruit, Honey, Matzah Meal, and any other Passover foods that you choose! 
Yom HaAtzmaut Volunteers Needed

The Jewish Federation of Silicon Valley Community is looking for volunteers to make the celebration of Yom HaAtzmaut - Israel at 70 come to life. The day will be full of joy of arts and crafts, comedians, and music. The event needs volunteers for face painting, fashion shows, and much more.
