Thank you to everyone who has purchased a sponsorship or ticket for our Gala.  Attendees will enjoy an elegant dinner buffet, dessert extraordinaire, and be dazzled by "celebrity" performers and entertainment. Be prepared to walk the red carpet and bid at the silent and live auctions.  Can't attend the Gala but still want to support Temple Emanu-El? Consider bidding on an auction item before the event. Valet parking for the evening begins at 6:30 PM so please do not arrive any earlier.

The 2016 Temple Emanu-El Directory is here!  Be sure to pick yours up during the Oneg on May 6.  You may also pick up your Temple Directory from the Temple Administrative Office during regular business hours.  One Directory per family. Now is the perfect opportunity to add your photo to your Temple account online.  Our online roster allows you to see people's photos!

Baby Shabbat

Babies, and bagels, and blessings, oh my!  Join us on the second Saturday of every month for a Shabbat experience geared towards families with children ages 0-30 months.  Little ones will enjoy a service full of Shabbat songs, Torah studies, and parachute play!  Kiddush, motzi, and a bagel oneg sponsored by Temple Emanu-El Sisterhood will follow this fun-filled program.  This is a great opportunity for parents of young children to meet and form groups with their peers!  Held in Room 20 of the school building.

Put on your dancin' shoes and join our free dancing class taught by our very own Loui Tucker. This class takes place on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month. No dance experience necessary and we welcome everyone from the community to join.

The perfect way to teach your children about Shabbat!  Led by Rabbi Magat and Cantor Simerly, families with young children will enjoy upbeat songs, a short story, and a talk with the Rabbi on the bimah.  All are welcome to these brief services on the third Friday of each month, starting at 6:00 PM. Stay after services and enjoy a delicious dinner provided by Sisterhood, of course at no charge!

The Israel Action Committee and Temple Emanu-El are honored to have Tammi Rossman-Benjamin come and speak at our Temple.  Tammi is the co-founder and director of the AMCHA-initiative, was nominated for Jewish-Hero of the Year, and will speak on the environment for Jewish students on college campuses.  Please join us for bagels at 10:30 AM followed by her speech at 11:00 AM.  RSVP to [email protected].

Camp Newman Shabbat

Join Rabbi Dana Magat and your Temple Emanu-El community for a Shabbat at URJ Camp Newman! Festivities include a reception with our Camp Directors, Shabbat dinner, singing, and dancing. Yom Ha'atzmaut Artists 4 Israel
