We're proud of our students and their participation and leadership in our service.  This service will include song leader Toby Pechner.  Toby has years of experience leading Jewish music at camps, schools, and youth groups.  This Family Service is preceded by a congregational Shabbatluck potluck dinner.  We hope you share in this delightful Shabbat service with us.
Baby Shabbat
Saturday, January 13 at 9:00 AM
Little ones will enjoy a service full of Shabbat songs, Torah talk, and parachute play!  Kiddush, motzi, and a bagel oneg sponsored by Temple Emanu-El Sisterhood follows this fun-filled program.  What a great opportunity for parents of children ages 0-30 months to meet and form groups- perhaps even life long friendships- with their peers.  Everyone is welcome!
Green Team Meeting
Sunday, January 14 at 11:00 AM
Help make 2018 a green year for Temple Emanu-El and its congregants. Two weeks ago we met with the Rabbi and Stephanie. They enthusiastically endorsed having the Temple certified as a "green" organization.  We will be pursuing certification as a green business by the County and as a green house-of-worship by GreenFaith.  The Rabbi is excited about reducing the Temple's environmental footprint and promoting environmental education throughout the congregation. Promoting environmental education through the Religious School, through sermons, through an educational series, and through hands-on outings.  Help us review the many facets of our Temple.  Click here to access the certification documentation.  If you know of anyone else interested in helping to 'Green" our Temple please forward them a copy of this meeting announcement.
