Don't have time to eat before Shabbat services? Join us for dinner instead!

Tomorrow, April 5th, we will be hosting our monthly Congregational Shabbat Dinner. For $5 per person, you can spend time with your fellow Temple-goers, eat food, and welcome Shabbat in the Erev Shabbat Family Service following the dinner!

Sisterhood Camperships
DEADLINE: Sunday, April 7
Sisterhood Camperships are available to current students or graduates of Temple Emanu-el’s Religious School whose parent or guardian is a current member of Sisterhood and who attended at least one Sisterhood event since April 1, 2018. The application deadline is April 7. Lunch and Learn

Join Rabbi Magat for lunch, and bring your own lunch - and opinion! This month's topic for Lunch and Learn will be focused on the Israeli elections. This event is open to the community.
Tikkun Olam Speaker: Sisterhood of Salaam Shalom
Thursday, April 11th at 7:00 PM
The Sisterhood of Salaam Shalom is a national network of Muslim and Jewish women. Members of our organization build strong relationships by engaging in dialogue, socializing, participating in social action projects and activities to expand our knowledge of each other’s practices and beliefs. Sisterhood Game Night
Saturday, April 6th at 6:30 PM
Open to members and non-members! Join us for a fun night of games for a low price, and bring your Mah Jongg cards in case we can make a game! Member prices are only $2.50/person or $10/family, non-member prices are $3/person or $12/family. Bring a non-dessert snack to share such as cheese, pretzels, etc. Please RSVP to [email protected] .
Baby Shabbat
Saturday, April 13th at 9:00 AM
Temple Emanu-El presents a Shabbat experience geared towards families with children ages 1-30 months. Little ones will enjoy a service full of Shabbat songs and Torah talk! Kiddush, motzi, and a bagel oneg. Everyone is welcome!
Second Night Seder
Saturday, April 20th at 5:00 PM
It’s time to read from the Haggadah, enjoy a warm seder, and have a joyous time with your family, friends, and loved ones here at Temple Emanu-El! Join us as we explore the story of the Exodus from Egypt. Passover dinner is served; bring your own wine. Vegetarian meals available upon request. Sisterhood Women's Seder
Tuesday, April 23rd at 6:00 PM
Calling all sisters, mothers, daughters, and friends - come share in a delicious Women's Seder hosted by Sisterhood. Join in the camaraderie and uplifting ritual by bringing a Kosher for Passover style salad, side dish or dessert to share. $8 for Sisterhood members, and $12 for non-Sisterhood members. Help Homeless Women in Need
Month of April
Abigail Everett, whose Bat Mitzvah is this upcoming month of April, is organizing a drive for basic hygiene supplies for homeless women here in our community as part of her mitzvah project. Recently formed in 2015,  Simply the Basics  collects and organizes hygiene supplies and support partner organizations that are providing direct services to homeless people. You can learn more about their work in this inspiring  video . Abigail has prepared a donation box which will be placed in the Administrative Office here at Temple Emanu-El. Donations will be collected through the end of April.
A Night of Magic

JCC Maccabi Games 2019 in Atlanta, July 28-August 2
Each summer, we send a delegation of Jewish teens ages 12-16 from Silicon Valley to participate at this international athletic competition for Jewish teens.
