Selichot Film Discussion & Service
Sat., September 12 // 8:00pm

Temple Emanu-El presents a beautiful introduction to the High Holidays. Watch "The Help" on your own. (Netflix).

At 8pm, we will be having a Zoom discussion with Rabbi Magat, followed by Selichot services. This services is e a time for reflection that will help prepare you spiritually for the upcoming holidays.

High Holy Day Gift Bags
September 17th & 18th

We are excited to be delivering High Holy Day Gift Bags to all of our Temple Members. In these gift bags, you'll receive treats such as apples, challah, honey cakes & shofar. You will get them in time before Erev Rosh Hashanah on the 18th.

If you would like to volunteer as a delivery driver for these gift bags, your help would be greatly appreciated. We are looking for members to assist with the contactless delivery. Please email us at admin@templesanjose.org
Tashlich - By Appointment Only
Sat., September 19 // 4pm

We are excited to offer the opportunity to gather in socially distant groups for Tashlich this year. We miss seeing all of you in person. There are 4 available times, with a maximum of 25 people allowed per time slot. Please RSVP to attend & only show up at your assigned time.

Week 4 of Elul
Fri., Sept.11th // 10am

Join the Clergy for their weekly Elul message. Rabbi will have a reading for you & Cantor will sing a song, as we mentally prepare for these upcoming High Holy Days.

Streaming Shabbat Services
Friday, September 11th // 7pm

Join us this evening for a calm, relaxing Shabbat Service. We will help you end the week as we begin the 4th week of Elul, leading up to the High Holy Days.
