Lunch and Learn Torah Study

Need a better way to spend your lunch hour?  Join Rabbi Magat on the fourth Wednesday of each month for an informal study and discussion session of a selected Torah portion. We will navigate through traditional interpretations and modern applications of our historic teachings.  Bring your lunch and be ready to get a new perspective on Torah. Open to members and non-members and no previous Torah study is required.

Our Tot Shabbat services go on vacation for summer!  We can't wait to see everyone back at our next Tot Shabbat Service on September 16 at 6:00 PM. We hope to see all our tots at our Kabbalat Shabbat Patio Services this summer.

Camp Newman Shabbat

Join Rabbi Dana Magat and your Temple Emanu-El community for a Shabbat at URJ Camp Newman! Festivities include a reception with our Camp Directors, Shabbat dinner, singing, and dancing. Parents, you are welcome to visit camp on Shabbat this summer with one exception: you may not have a child/grandchild/relative at camp during your visit because it causes homesickness and issues within the cabin.  Held at URJ Camp Newman, 4088 Porter Creek Rd., Santa Rosa.   Please register for your visit by clicking here .

San Francisco Pride with URJ
Sunday, June 26 at 10:00 AM at Civic Center UN Plaza Station, 450 Golden Gate Ave., San Francisco.
For the third year in a row, join the URJ San Francisco Bay Area Community to march together in the San Francisco Pride Parade on Sunday, June 26.  Reform Jews from across the Bay Area will march together as one united group to show our solidarity with the Pride movement, proclaim our support of civil and human rights, and demonstrate our own strength in numbers.   Sign up here!
Silicon Valley Jewish Music Festival
Sunday, June 26 at 2:00 PM
This year's headliner is Molly Ringwald, playing favorites from the American Jazz Songbook. Other bands in the lineup include Mostly Kosher, Lior Ben-Hur & Sol Tevél, and children's favorite Mister G. The festival takes place on the JCC's athletic field, so bring a blanket or lawn chairs. There will also be food vendors, artisan vendors, a KidZone, and more.Tickets are $8-$20. Kids under 12 get in free. The Addison-Penzak JCC is located at 14855 Oka Road, Los Gatos. Opening at Hatikvah House 
Hatikvah House is a lovely Jewish home for six adults with developmental disabilities located in Campbell, CA.  We are a licensed, level 3, staff-operated residential program providing services and support in an environment that embraces Jewish values and traditions.  Each resident participates in a structured schedule of activities that is responsive to their individual needs and services plan.  Hatikvah House currently has one opening for an adult age 18-59 with challenges in cognitive, self-help, and social functioning.  For more information click here.
