Dear Families and Friends of Temple Emanu-El,  

This Sunday, November 18th, at 6:30 PM , please join the interfaith community of San Jose in giving thanks at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Pie and refreshments will be served following the service. This is open to members and non-members alike.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a can of food to donate to the Second Harvest Food Bank. Childcare will not be provided, but all ages are welcome.

Turkey Drive

Interfaith Thanksgiving Service

Latkes and Laughs

Doors open at 5:30 PM
Grab your tickets while they last - only a few left! Join us for a night of hilarity - all kosher, of course! Jeff Applebaum will be leading a night of comedy, latkes, and a little bit of singing. We're also celebrating the first night of Chanukah. No need to bring candles or menorahs, we'll provide!

Tot Shabbat with Catered Dinner
Friday, November 16th at 6:00 PM
Families with young children will enjoy upbeat songs, a short story, and a talk with the Rabbi on the bimah. All are welcome to these brief services on the third Friday of each month. Stay after services and enjoy a delicious dinner provided by Sisterhood, of course at no charge!
Coffee Talk with La Prez

Come schmooze with Temple President Deborah Zimmer at the Temple House. Coffee and tea will be provided. Deborah wants to hear about your thoughts and experiences about Temple.
Congregational Shabbat Dinner
Friday, December 7th at 6:00 PM
Join us for our latest and greatest Shabbat event, our Congregational Shabbat Dinner! This event will be held every first Friday of the month throughout the Religious School year. For only $5 per person you can get an awesome meal and some fabulous company . Please be sure to bring your chanukiah/menorah to celebrate the sixth night of Chanukah! Baby Shabbat
Saturday, December 8th at 9:00 AM
Temple Emanu-El presents a Shabbat experience geared towards families with children ages 1-30 months. Little ones will enjoy a service full of Shabbat songs, Torah talk, and parachute play! Kiddush, motzi, and a bagel oneg. Everyone is welcome!

Menorahs & Miracles

at the Children's Discovery Museum, 180 Woz Way, San Jose
Games, crafts, and music: these are just a few of the fun activities you can enjoy at “Menorahs and Miracles, a Hanukkah Celebration.” This annual event is a partnership between the museum and the APJCC, and features Hanukkah game and craft tables from the JCC, Hanukkah songs in the museum's theater with Yavneh Day School, Hanukkah storytime with PJ Library, plus all your regular favorite museum activities.
