AJC #JewishandProud Day January 6 Responds to Antisemitism Spike
In the face of a veritable epidemic of antisemitism, American Jewish Committee (AJC) is encouraging Jews of all denominations to participate in  #JewishandProud  Day on Monday, January 6.

We encourage you on Monday to proudly wear your Yarmulke while going to work or running errands, and post on social media with #JewishAndProud.

Have you been to Israel? Do you want to go again? Join Rabbi Dana Magat as he leads an enriching trip across Israel. You will meet local people, try local cuisine, and see the sights. We look forward to having you join us on this unique experience.

Israeli Dancing
January 7 - 7:30pm

Start the year off right and get your dancing shoes ready! We're exciting to have Israeli Dancing in the first week of 2020! It will be a great way to start the year off right with your friends!

Brotherhood Volunteering at Second Harvest Food Bank
January 22 - 5:30pm

Join the Brotherhood at the Second Harvest Food Bank as they help to feed families in our area. We invite everyone who is 14 and older to come join us as we give back to the community.

Legacy Rock Shabbat
January 24 - 7:30pm

Join us for a special Shabbat Service that you don't want to miss! We are partnering with Yavneh Day School for this year's Legacy Rock Shabbat. This is a Shabbat service where we honor all our L'Dor V'dor Legacy Society Members who have included Temple Emanu-El in their estate plans.

We will also have a full band, with singing with Rabbi Dana Magat & Cantor Edmonson.

There will be an appetizer recpetion starting at 6:30pm, with the service to follow at 7:30pm.

Support(ive) Group for Parenting on the Special Needs Journey
Time: Mondays 7:45pm - 9pm

Parenting can be joyful, stressful, uplifting and frustrating - all in one day (hour?!) The journey to, through and beyond a special needs diagnosis can make the parenting experience all the more intense. Facilitated by Rabbi Laurie Matzkin, JCC Mindful Jewish Journeys Educator. Co-Sponsored by the Los Gatos JCC and Parents Helping Parents
Singing Together for Change
January 6 - 7pm

Join the  Jerusalem Youth Chorus  in the co-creation of music and story sharing at a multicultural workshop, with a special performance by Notre Dame's Latinas Unidas Folklorico Dance Group.

Jewbilee - The Stories we Tell
January 26 - 1pm

Immerse yourself in a Jewish learning experience. Jewbilee is an annual day of Jewish learning at the JCC. The day is divided into sessions, with many classes, workshops and performances happening simultaneously during each session. YOU choose what you want to do. Hundreds of participants, and dozens of teachers, artists, educators, speakers, and performers. Just for kids, there’s a “Kids Jewbilee” program too!

ASIST is a two-day interactive workshop in suicide first-aid. ASIST teaches participants to recognize when someone may be at risk of suicide and work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety. ASIST can be learned and used by anyone (age 16 and above).

The Training is two days, from 8:30am-5:00pm.
